Upflow: A Koi’s Tale is based on the Chinese and Japanese legend of the golden koi who swam upstream to the top of a waterfall and was transformed into a dragon for his strength and tenacity. While many koi returned downstream in the tow of the current, the one who endured upstream received the reward for successfully outlasting the impossible task. Only when a koi swims against the force of a waterfall, does he find his true strength and fulfill his hidden potential.
