Making Jade

Making Jade is inspired by Japanese and Chinese folktales about the lady in the moon and her companion the jade rabbit. According to these tales, the lunar maria or dark markings of the moon are seen as the image of a bunny pounding mochi with a wooden mallet. On the next full moon,  look to the sky, and  you might just glimpse the rabbit pounding away.
