Evening Watch

Evening is when the sun curtsies low,
and the moon prepares her nightly show,
Neither are ready to acquit or assume their post,
A moment of almost goodbye and almost hello;
Those that know,
Slip out to watch as time stops,
The moon hops, and the sun drops.
